My Jaycee Marie's love is the best gift EVER!

My Jaycee Marie is a Bichon Frise, and her love is the best gift I could ever receive. Alittle back ground information my name is Jamie George and I am 26 years old. When I was 21, my “pop” which we called my grandfather was in a house fire and severely burned. After getting out of the Burn Unit at Arkansas Children’s Hospital, he came and lived with my parents, which I was still living at home at the time. Not too long after he moved in with my parents, my parents built him an apartment, just about 30 yards from their home. I ended up moving out with him into the apartment and helping take care of him, staying with him every night. I became extremely attached to him, and he was starting to be all that I knew. My mom and sister decided that I was getting extremely too attached and they knew that he would not live too much longer so Christmas of 2008 they decided to get me a puppy, which is now known as Jaycee Marie. If they would had told me before I got her the reasoning for getting her was so I would become attached to something else other than my pop, I would had told them they were out of their minds. In June of 2009, we found out that my pop had lung cancer and that there was no way he could survive it, they gave him 6 months to live. My pop passed away on December 8^th, 2009 and Jaycee was who kept me going. She knew what had happened, she stayed with us for that year before he passed away and she loved pop too! I never thought I could love something as much as I love Jaycee. She is the best companion I could have ever asked for. She went through a lot with me, the passing of my pop, relationships, tons of things. I talk to her about everything and she acts as she understands. When I leave home without her, I start missing her and cannot wait to get back home to her. She means everything to me, she loves me like noone could ever love me, I guess it’s just a different kind of love. I could never ask for anything more than her love. I love her more than life itself and would do anything for her.
